Trigonometry

• Chapter 2 Test is on Tuesday.  You should be working on your practice exam.  We will review on Monday.
• Section 3.1 Homework is due Thursday. There will be a Quiz on the Trig function values of all the multiples of π/6 and π/4 on Monday
• Section 3.2 Homework is due Friday.
• Section 3.3 Homework is due Tuesday next week.

SAT Prep

This week we will be using the math strategies leaned on Study Island to take practice SAT exams. On Friday, we will begin the Vocabulary tutorial on Study Island.

Chemistry I

• If you didn't turn in the Significant Figures packet on Friday, turn it in Monday.
• The extension questions for the Significant Zeros POGIL and the significant figures worksheet are due Tuesday
• The Accuracy vs. Precision Quick Lab and Section 3.1 Outline are due Wednesday
• Significant Figures and Scientific Notation Quiz on Wednesday.
• Length Lab handout due Thursday.
• Quiz on Temperature conversion and Density on Friday.

Trigonometry

• Quiz today on Trig Values of the 30's and 45's angles.  You may re-quiz on this as many times as you like until next Friday.
• Section 2.4 Homework will be due Tuesday
• Section 2.5 Homework will be due Thursday
• Chapter 2 Exam is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, September 30. Use the practice exam to study.

SAT Prep

• We finished the SAT Math tutorial on Study Island today and had a journal check.  If you were absent, show me your notebook on Monday.
• Next week, we will do some career exploration and college searches on the College Board website.

Chemistry I

• Monday we will be doing the 1+2+3=Black! lab.  The lab sheet will be due Tuesday.
• Section 2.4 Outline is also due Tuesday.
• Chapter 2 Exam will be on Wednesday

Trigonometry
We had our Chapter 1 Test today. No Homework this weekend.  Section 2.1 Homework will be due Tuesday.

SAT Prep
We will continue working on the Study Island SAT math tutorial all next week.  You should be answering the essential question in your journal after you finish each portion of the tutorial.

Chemistry I
The Oobleck! Lab was due today.  We also finished the Classification of Matter inquiry activity in class.  Monday, we will get the remaining data for the separation of a mixture lab and will be doing a chromatography of ink lab.  An Interpreting Graphics assignment will be given for homework and is due Tuesday.  The separation of mixtures lab will be due Wednesday.

Physics
Lab 2: Motion lab report is due Monday.  The vector treasure hunt questions are also due Monday, and there is a vector addition quiz on Monday.  It sounds like a lot, but you have had a week to write the lab report and the questions shouldn't take you too long.

September 9th

Trigonometry
Section 1.4 Homework is due today. Section 1.5 Homework is due tomorrow.  We will be working on practice problems for your exam on Wednesday and Thursday. Chapter 1 Exam on Friday.

SAT Prep
Monday, we finished the last section of pre-tests.  We will be using a video tutorial on Study Island the remainder of the week, focusing on test taking strategies for the math portion of the exam.  You should answer the essential questions written on the board in your journal everyday before you leave class.

Chemistry I
Monday, Section 2.1 of your outline was due.  Section 2.2 of your outline will be due Wednesday.  The write-up for Oobleck lab that we did in class on Monday is due Friday. Make sure that you put thought into your answers. It is worth 50 points.  The procedure for separating a mixture lab is due Wednesday.

Physics
Chapters 1&2 Exam on Tuesday.  Work on your Chapter 3 Homework.  Lab 2: Motion lab report is due next Monday.

September 3rd
